Graphics card recommendation

I'm planning on building a Linux box this summer to try out Ubuntu. I'll be leaving this PC at home when I go back to Uni, meaning I'll have a desktop PC for when I'm back home for holidays. I'll probably stick XP on the PC as well. Now when I'm back for hols I'd just want to play Football Manager 2007 really. So can anyone recommend me a PCI-E graphics card that would be OK for FM07/Ubuntu/Windows etc?

I can budget perhaps £40 maybe up to £50. I'm currently looking at a £33 NX7300LE. Is this a powerful enough card for FM07? Or do I not even need a proper graphics card for FM?

Excellent. Thanks Flibby. Would Ubuntu run OK on an onboard graphics solution?

Yes, although I'd recommend an Intel onboard (or NV onboard) to ensure good stability.

Schaweet. Got to check the mobo I want now to see if it has onboard gfx. Probably won't, knowing my luck. Its always the last hurdle I fall at. Grr!!

Turns out the mobo I'm getting doesn't have onboard graphics. Since the card I've got bookmarked is about £33 I'd like to get something for roughly that or less even.

So I'm thinking if I don't need a graphics card as such for FM07/Ubuntu but I do need one as my intended mobo doesn't have onboard gfx, can I get just the cheapest PCI-E graphics card then?
