I am thinking about getting a new graphics card soon.
I currently run a GTX 275, and it is starting to show it's age in some newer games. I always try to find a good balance between visual beauty and performance, but some games are losing too much visually to be appealing and enjoyable. I game a lot, so I like my games to be enjoyable, but not too expensive at the same time. I have personally always like Nvidia cards, and I have heard people have had a lot of driver problems with ATI.
I game at 1680x1050 (possibly moving to 1920x1200 soon), so I need a card that can game around those resolutions well, with good visuals and still maintaining good performance. Say a budget of around £350 maximum, and something that will stay good for a while.
Also, are there any new graphics updates coming in the next few months? Like new versions of cards? That might impact on my decision.
Edit: Also wanted to add, I was thinking about the GTX 470 (just been reading some reviews etc, and might be a good card to SLI later on?).
