Graphics card recommendation

Hi all,

In January I bought an R6950 Twin Frozr II, it broke after a month or so. I send it back to OC, they say they never received it. The icing on the cake was that the package wasn't send recorded/tracked. Needless to say, I have never been more angry in my life. Thankfully I've just picked up a well paid job, so I can buy a new card (I'm still ****ing ****ed off).

I haven't been checking the GFX card releases recently, and I have no idea if there's any new releases worth waiting for. Now I loved my R6950, it was quiet and cool. The fact that it was FAR cooler than the 4870X2 in my PC ATM, means that I could overclock my CPU even more.

TL;DR
What graphics card would you recommend with a budget of around ~£250. I'm also buying a Dell U2311H to go alongside my Iiyama 22", too, so it needs decent dual monitoring ability (obviously I'm not going to be playing games on dual monitor, not yet anyway)

Preferably the recommended card will perform better than the R6950, cooler and quieter (if you can't find any cards that are, then please say so!)

Thanks in advance all!
