Graphics card recommendation

Hi,
I currently have a Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 and thinking it needs an update, I don't want to spend the earth maybe around the £300 mark but really where the best performance per £ sits.
It needs to be capable of running at 1440p and with a dvi out, and will work well with the following:
Asus maximus viii ranger
i7 6700k
Corsair £650w PSU
