Graphics card running at PCI 2.0 x8 and is it a problem

Hi, as title really.

My Mobo is P7P55D Evo, which is PCIE 2.0 x16. GPUZ says it is running at PCIE 2.0 x8. How do I fix this and is this going to noticably slow my gaming performance?

Yes it is in the right slot on my motherboard ;)
