How far does that "lump" P) on the back protrude from the card and does / would it hinder CF /TriFire configurations ?

That is the same card, just a 680 LTG. Sitting next to a Ref 680.

As far as SLI went, it didn't make any odds. Make sure you have flexi CF bridges though.

Beast of a case, always wanted to change my Antec 1200 to a CM-HAF.

Happy with my HAF X. Temps have dropped more than I thought.

I was mainly going for high settings, not max as with many games you don't really notice the difference
