Hi
Built new pc about a month back now , well would not work , blank screen so took back to overclockers and the found the graphics card to be faulty ( brand new card ) so they replaced it ....pc boots now .
Well i had a lot of issues with the overclock setting so they replaced the bundle ...all been working fine this week since had it back .
Well yesterday the bios settings vanished so had to put them back on ...got pc running at 4ghz again no problem ...working fine all last night .
Switched on this morn and blank screen again ...pc boots up ...so rebooted it 3 times ...nothing .
Green light is on the card but the blue one isn't .
So switched off at mains , took side off and made sure all cables where tight and wiggled the card to make sure it was seated properly .
Switched back on and now works . green light comes on ...then after short while blue light comes on .
Has anyone else had this with the gainward gtx295 ....do you think just bad connection ? also in bios its set to PCI on " Init Display First " should it be set to PCIE x16-1 ...will that cause this problem ?
Any help most appreciated
Karl
