ATI 4870 taking ages to initialise
Bought a ATI 4870 two months ago and all has been fine and dandy apart from one niggle.
When i updated the drivers about a month ago I found that when I move the mouse (to take the monitor out of standby mode) it takes about 20 seconds for the desktop to appear.
The pc is not asleep I just have the power settings set to turn off monitor after 20 mins (stops sending an signal over dvi). Just got the latest driver update and the problem is still there.
Anyone else found this problem and is it a windows issue or ATI driver issue?
