I have a 6800GT AGP, and have recently changed the cooler on the card. Now I am concerned about the temperature. Is there a built in sensor on this card that can be read with some kinda clever gadgetry? How do you fellas check the temps on yours?

Right click on your desktop > Properties > NVidia display > Your monitor > Look for 'Temperature settings'

Would that not be the display temperature? The 6300/7500k kinda stuff?
I had a butchers around the nVidia control panel and couldnt find anything relating to the Adapter's temp.

Thanks for the ATI tool tip, will try that when I get home :)

Nope its your graphics temperature. I'll get a pic one sec.

I dont have that, I have this swanky new control panel effort. Maybe due to the latest drivers or some such. Will look harder when I get in :)

On a related note, whats an average/acceptable load temperature for a stock 6800?

Get ati tool though will give you full info on your temps like core temp, memory temp etc!

Erm, the nvidia control panel displays what the card reads.

Downloading a peice of pointless software (in his case) isnt really good advise...

CR.
