Graphics card temps

My temp on my 280gtx card is 73c is that ok or too high, cause i just got artifacting in one of my games. Its the first time its happened and its in a buggy game (avp) so i think its just the game.

about a minute after getting off avp, but i have been playing games on it for about 4 hours
Should i worry about the artifacting its only happened once and thats in a very buggy game?

Ok. Yeah as AVP is a pretty new game its not going to perform as well as it will after a few patches/updates.

Just to make sure you might want to take a temp reading while your system is at idle.

Id test it on a few other games just to be sure, i recently had a gtx 280 fail on me, started artifacting in cod mw2 and grid once temps went over 70c, rma'd it and it was found to be faulty.

well its been nearly 20 mins since posting my temps and now its gone to 63c.

63 is still quite high. How is the airflow through out your case?
