Graphics Card - Testing - Fault Finding - Benchmarks

What's the best applications, software to test a graphics card fully if say a new or second hand one was purchased?

So far I have

1) Heaven
2) 3D Mark

imo avoid furmark. nvidia have even said that the load given by this app can draw too much power and basically mess it up.

apart from that 3dmark has been good for me, pretty much any newer demanding game should be fine.

I did wonder about Furmark as I heard talk of it causing issues, cheers though will avoid!

I would say playing games at highest settings, if possible using AA to max memory usage.

play intense games with max settings games like sleeping dogs on highest bf3 ,

Different graphics card, being put through a test!

SD BM is a good stress tester, fantastic for checking oc stability too.

The original Crysis BM is also very good for stressing for vram faults on suspect cards.

Good choice on staying away from Furmark, Amd refers it as a 'power virus'.
