Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, motherboard is using an i5-4670k processor at 3.4GHz with 16GB RAM Motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 I don't do games or anything video intensive, just want to see three side by side identical elderly ACER v243w 24 inch monitors at reasonable resolution for amateur radio monitoring. The monitors have one VGA port and one 24 pin DVI port each. Could someone recommend a graphics card that won't break my piggy bank please? I am in the UK so a UK source would be advantageous. BTW, the motherboard appears to have VGA, HDMI and DVI output sockets, any trickery possible there? I do want individual things on each monitor.... :) Thanks!

I can't remember exactly, though I have a feeling the onboard graphics *might* be able to run 2 monitors - you could try connecting up the VGA and DVI to see.

As most cards now have Display Port, you'll struggle to get many with VGA and multi monitor support

Even if you can only do 1 monitor from your on board, an nVidia 1030 would be the cheapest 'new' card you could get for the additional 2 outputs (they have 1 DVI and 1 HDMI)

though you would also need an hdmi to dvi adapter (this appears to be the right one, but the description seems off.. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk-value-dvi-to-hdmi-video-adapter-dv-005-cb-029-ok.html )

Overclockers do have some nVidia 730 and 710 cards in stock, though I'm not sure what their multi-monitor capability is, maybe someone else can advise (likewise for other older/2nd hand cards)

Edit: I'm assuming the monitors are 1080p?
