Hi I need a card for my first build, I'm on quite a tight budget and would like to spend UNDER £100. My gaming needs aren't very demanding, I would be happy with LOTRO/SW:TOR on medium settings at 1440x900 and some MW3 with playable framerates. I have found a XFX HD 5830 for £85 delivered which seemed decent but there's a lot of mixed reviews for it. :confused: I would like to buy new.

The rest of my build:

Athlon II X3 450
Asus M4A88T-M
4GB DDR3-1333MHz
Spinpoint F3
Xigmatek Asgard Case
Corsair CX430 V2
 
5830 is quite a good card imo, a little slower than a 5850 but meh not by much
you should be able to find a GTX460 for around the hundred pound mark too if you look around

2nd hand will get you more though, a nice 5850 are going for between 90-100 now

I did think this but I will need a PCIE adapter for my PSU and with postage it's nearly £100 for a refurbished card and like Seraph says I can probably get a new one for that if i looked hard enough.

How do people rate the 6770?
 
Not strictly under £100 but it could be if you sell the games:
