Graphics Card Update

Hi I'm looking for a little advice please on updating my graphics card in order to play Diablo III on near top settings.
I am currently running a Nvidia GeForce GT530 on a stock dell PC with an intel i7 2600 processor and 12 gigs of RAM.

I am aware that in order to update a graphics card i need a capable PSU, the PC currently has a standard dell psu as follows:

Power
DC Power Supply
Wattage 460 W
Input voltage 115/230 VAC
Input frequency 50/60 Hz
Output current 8 A/4 A

I am aware this i pretty basic and wil probably need to be updated, if i was to change the PSU would that mean i needed to change any other components aswell?

In short can someone spec me a good graphics card with a compatible PSU, ideally within the £200 price mark for both.

Thank you.

Can you add pictures?

Dells are notoriously awkward in terms of compatibility, so it would help to see what we're dealing with.

But the answer is no - your new PSU wouldn't be incompatible with your other innards - whether it fits in your case is the question.

I've uploaded a couple of pictures, as seen in the links below.
I can remove the casing which holds the PSU easy enough, there are a few cables in the back which might make it awkward.
I guess it just depends on whether or not it will fit inside.

Yeah a Dell PSU - can you post the PSU dimensions and model number?

Apparently I'm not necessarily right about it not causing damage either - people selling "dell compatible power supplies" have spiel about it causing damage if you get it wrong and I can't tell if it's made up or not.

I don't think so.

You will have quite a few problems mounting a dell motherboard in a standard case.

1st is Backplate you don't have one.

2nd is custom cables on the motherboard ie. Front panel. (I am not sure but i would check.

You would also want to add an H61 motherboard to your list.

What CPU do you have?

I'm not really considering replacing the case, so I am not going to follow the above post, all I was hoping to do was upgrade my PSU unit to enable a better gfx card, i have a i7 2600 cpu.
The biggest issue I am having is determining psu compatibility in a dell xps 8300 case.
