Graphics card upgrade advice required

Hi im looking to upgrade my Graphics card advice needed pretty please

Specs
AMD Ryzen 5 2600x 3.60Ghz
motherboard - Rogstrix b450-f gaming
16gig ram
2tb harddrive ssd
graphics card nvidia geforce gtx 960

im looking to get a decent card without going stupid
i game on BF5 and COD mw mainly

my fps is pretty poor in cod running at 30 to 50 fps i can increase the fps by lowering the settings but i do like a good looking game tbh

Nvidia probably releasing new gen H1 2020. AMD 5700XT quite recent, compared to RTX2000 series. Budget?

RX 5700/5700 XT would be huge upgrade.
Heck, pretty much any current card would be that.
GTX 960 must have like third of performance of 980 Ti, whose performance in modern games is really slow:

5700xt would be my suggestion as well. If you want an nvcard, then the 2070s.

How much are you willing to spend?

If you're looking for low-mid options, you have the Rx-580 which performs really well in both Modern Warfare and Battlefield V. Around 70-75FPS for MW, and Around similar performance for Battlefield V. If you tweak the settings a little, you can easily get more.

In the mid- high range, you have the Nvidia GTX 2060 and AMD 5700/ XT.

5700 is 2060 level card, gets you 120 FPS in both games.

5700XT is 2070 super level card gets you around 140-150 FPS in both games.

Very little difference between them however. Could get the 5700 and overclock it for XT performance, saving more.

That's true, however there were some artificial limits placed on the 5700 to limit it's overclocking potential. I'm sure there are ways to get around it, but it involves modding the BIOS.

so the 5700 xt looks like the daddy so now which one to get lol
i counted about 10 different ones???? is it best to go with the higher clock speed ?? sorry for all the questions
