Help!

Ive got a ATI 3870 512mb that i dont believe can cut it anymore 2bh.

My mate will sell the iddentical 1 2 me for £50 so i could crossfire.

Sooo....

Is it worth crossfiring these two cards or go for a much better singular???

Budget £150

What is your montior resolution?

I would deffinetly upgrade to a single card, something like a 4890 or a 5770, the latter has a bit less grunt than the 4890 but uses less power and is DX11 compatible.

well.... using a 32" tv as a monitor

so either 1360x768 or with my other monitor 1680x1050

:)

Cool, in that case I will stick with my recomendation of the 4890 or 5770, its up to you to decide on which though, they both have their benefits.

Also with the 5770 the gains from Xfire are brilliant, so you may want to consider that when deciding on a new card.

Yeah ur right actually,

Gives me a good enough reason drive down and fetch it!!

Hopefully enough power on that card to help on ARMA 2 :D

well well well

My girlfriend says she will buy me 1 for crimbo......

What should i do folks??

1.Get 1 at crimbo?

2.Wait till crimbo see what else there is then?

3. Buy the 5770 now and then get another at crimbo and x-fire????

Cheers
