I was thinking about buying the following graphics card:
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

I currently have the 320MB version.

I wondered if there would be any problems if I bought 2 of the 640MB versions and linked them via SLi?

Never actually done that before so any advice would be great

SLI is a very poor investement at this current time and does not offer the performance some people think SLI will. Go for a single 8800GTX if you will be upgrading.

I would keep keep the 320 till then next round of cards come out (9xxx series for nvidia), as you clearly have enough cash to spend on those cards.

After quite a few previous experiences of buying new technology early, I often get the shaft on price.

These days I don't mind sitting back a while for prices to drop, let other people feel that initial sting hehe.

What do you think to this one:
OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - OEM

Is that a good buy, or safer to go with the BFG 640MB?

If I do anything for the time being, it may just be a single BFG 640MB, and sell on the 320MB.
