Graphics Card Upgrade

The 5770 is a a good card, it is about as powerful as a GTX 260 or HD 4870 and supports DX11. It should give you a nice framerate boost over an 8800GT, here is a review which compares both cards (and several others).

However, if you are mainly playing WoW - then DX11 isn't much of an issue. So I would suggest going for a 4890, it is faster than the 5770 (see review above) andnot too much more expensive. When going from an 8800GT to a 4890- the performance bump will feel more worthwhile than just going to a 5770.

I have pretty much the same spec as you and went through this dilemma myself. I bought a second hand 4850 for £50 and I'm going to wait until Spring until the 5xxx series come into my budget range.
