I wanted to start using Cinema4D to enhance my films, but my current GPU doensn't cut it! (Intel HD 2000 :p)

Would a HD 6970 or GTX 570 be better for this?

Will my OCZ ZS 550W be enough?

Thanks, James :)

Yes. iRay/CUDA.

Thank you, my last Nvidia card was the 8800GTX so I'm a little behind on some things related to its features. I like 3D on my friends 480 SLI, 2700k though. (pointless to why I added that )

Wouldn't he be better with a 2gb 560ti as cuda will appreciate more vram for gpu rendering will it not?

I know the Cycles gpu renderer in Blender does anyway.

Relies on the CUDA core count more, I thought? not that wrong,....usually:p

If it's just postprocessing work that the op wants Cuda accelerated then the 570 would obviously be quicker.

Anyway, I don't really know enough about iRay/Cinema4D to say anymore :)
