Hi,

I'm a bit out the loop with GPU's these days, even though i work in IT i never deal with new hardware so not really stayed up to date.

What would be a good upgrade from a MSI 450GTS OC?

Currently got a 3 monitor set up, with 2 of the monitors running off the GPU and one running off my Ivybridge GPU, 1920x1080 res for main gaming, my GPU still handles all new games well if i have less AA on highest settings but would be nice to have something to keep me going for the next year or two.
 
A 7950 or a 670 will suit your needs nicely. Look for a GPU out of those 2 that will suit your connections on the monitors.
