Can anyone recommend a good upgrade for my system please? I currently have an i5 2400, 8gb corsair vengeance ram and would like to know which card you think i should get in the £150 range. Thanks in advance :) Plus i need to upgrade my psu as i currently have a corsair 450w p.s I have a hd6850 1gb in at the mo
 
If you look around you could get a new 7950 for more like £170-175 but delivery is a bit extra and may have no free games. The 3 year warranty here with MSI cards could be worth that bit extra though. 7950 would be a great upgrade if you could save a bit more.

Sort of in the same boat, wondered if the GTX 760 was worth the extra or about the same as 7950? Been out of the Gfx card merry go round for a while (have a 6870 at the mo, and that was a jump up from my old GTX 7800 from bygone days) and the current card will be passed on to my son so I'll need one to take its place.

Budget £140-£200 probably. I did try a second hand 7850 which was fine... for 10 minutes. Then it gave the black screen of death and hard reset required to get the box working again. For 10 minutes. Needless to say that went back to seller, and it's left me a bit nervous about the 7xxx series of cards after a quick internet search.
