Hi all I would like to upgrade my GPU. I currently have a nvidia 570 gtx which I've had for over two years and it's been the longest card I've ever owned.

I'm looking to spend £260 and want the best bang for buck if possible. my system is old gen i5 750 clocked to 4ghz 8gb of ram, anyone recommend something, cheers.

If you want a card that would last as long (or more than) your GTX570 did, I would suggest you to consider stretching £100 extra and get a custom R9 290 or GTX780.

Between the the 280x and the GTX770, the 280x would be a better bet on better longevity due to it higher memory bandwidth and 1GB more vram, and most importantly because of Mantle; the GTX770 could arguably last just as long because of G-sync making "perceived" smoothest being better despite the frame rate being the same, however, you'd need to get a new monitor that support G-sync to make that happen.

Hi I'm in the same situation I Want to upgrade my Gpu I'm currently running a Asus 570 gtx and my budget is £200 top limit i don't mind if the card is used or not Im currently looking at Gigabyte gtx 760 x3 wind force is that a good card, I'm running a 24 inch Samsung HD Monitor any Help would be very Helpful please

A 2nd hand GTX770 if that's your absolute max budget. Don't go for any lesser than a GTX680 or GTX670 (including GTX760), or you won't see enough performance jump that you'd deem as a worthwhile upgrade.

ohh ok thanks for the help i cant find a gtx770 within budget it will have to be a 760 also is it better to get a 760 with 2 gig or ram or 4 gig or will the extra ram become a bottleneck.

Seriously...don't buy a GTX 760, as it's slower than the GTX670, and it is essentially a GTX670 but with less CUDA cores/steam processors.

Look for 2nd hand GTX770/GTX680/GTX670 instead.

Hi all thanks for helping I went for (Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce 3x OC 2048MB) in the end and I love it, battlefield 4 in ultra is awesome, thanks chaps.

Burtie did you sell your 570 on the members market ? Or is it still up for sale and you can add in another £60 in that budget if you sell that too.

If your budget is only £260 then one of these cards mate is what you are after.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce 3x OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (GV-N770OC-2GD) £259.99 inc VAT
