Hello. i have a HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-a111na but cant play most games on it my specs are.
HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-a111na
Cpu Amd...A9 stoney ridge
Ram...8gb
Motherboard...hp 82ff (po)
Adapter type.....Amd radeon graphics processor ( 0x98E4 )
Adapter Discription... Amd radeon r5 graphics
Adapter ram.... 1.00gb.
I know i will have to get a bigger power supply but thats for later. What card would you recommend for me i think i need one with atleast 2gb. T.I.A

This being the motherboard (I've never even heard of "Maple"):

It doesn't actually have a PCI-E slot (which you'd need in order to add a discrete GPU), although honestly I'm not sure it'd be worth putting a dedicated card into the system even if you could. Regardless your only real option here would be to build a new system.
 
Did you have a budget in mind for a GPU and PSU replacement?

It might be possible to build you a spec-list for a new rig depending, and you could always consider selling your current desktop system to help with costs.

That is one bare motherboard lol 2003........
 
Yeah, it isn't old, it's just an incredibly poor motherboard.

I know companies like HP try to save on costs, but they should be ashamed of supplying something like that in a modern desktop PC.
 
Rip it up and start again, find another use for this one. I can't believe they were selling people junk like this as recently as 2017. Alternatively you might want to look at a console. Your system doesn't give you a start point for gaming unfortunately.
