I would like to connect my PC to my LCD TV via HMDI (video and audio). I am not planning to play games.

So, what graphics card would you recommend?

Can you recommend a specific card?
I want to make sure that the only other thing I need except for the card is the HDMI cable. I don't want to have hunt down any DVI->HDMI dongles.

Is everything I need available from overclockers?

xpertvision hd 2600 pro

comes with hdmi onboard (not a dvi converter)

all my vids play smooth as hell now, best £40 i've spent for a while

Is your LCD exact 720p or 1080p resolution? If it's not, you will get a better picture from VGA or DVI as you can match the native resolution of your monitor.

I have a panasonic TX-LX32LXD, I know it supports 720p but I think the native resolution is 1366 x 768.

Depends if you want sound and what sound through the hdmi too.
.

Only need stereo as that is all my LCD TV supports.

With VGA or DVI you can set your resolution to 1366 x 768 in Windows so your PC to LCD mapping will be 1:1 giving the best picture. I doubt it makes much difference when watching a film but I imagine it would if you we're to use it as a desktop (reading etc.).

With HDMI you could only chose 720p which is 1280 x 720 which is not 1:1 mapping. Ideally you could have both connected, HDMI (because of HDCP) for Blu-ray/HD-DVD and VGA/DVI for desktop.
