i currently have a a.t.i 4850 hd golden sample and i am thinking of upgrading to an a.t.i sapphire hd 5770 is there a lot of differance and is my graphics card worh much if i sell it
 
You would get 'slight' boost in performance, but not siginificantly. Also, if you planning on selling you 4850, I think you'd lucky to get £40-£50 as it run hot, and most informed people would get a 2nd hand 8800GTX instead for around the same price.
