I’m new to pc building, started to build one but common knowledge that the 3080 that I wanted won’t be avaliable anytime soon. Is there any cheaper cards I can buy in the mean time with a good performance that haven’t massively inflated in price?

Nope.

Pretty much no, all the high end, and mid range cards are either completely gone or marked up by extreme amounts in the second hand market.

If you are not bothered about DLSS the AMD cards appear to have more availability.
3070Ti will be out soon too if the 3080Ti releasing today is out of your price range at £1049

I tried to get a 3080ti but failed miserably what do you think the chances of getting a 3070ti are

Hate to say this, but if you don't want to spend rip-off amount on literally any graphic card right now, buying a pre-built system is probably the only option...

I failed too, website was a mess. Similar chance for the 3070Ti I reckon (slim to none)

I’ve seen a 1080ti for around the £450 mark I think I’ll settle for that until stock inproves

I can vouch for signing up for Telegram alerts. Seems to be the fastest way to get notified but it still very pot luck.
