Made a thread about this a while ago. My H50 has apparently leaked over my 5770's. I was using the computer when the display stopped working, took a look inside and they had water on them, so I was obviously running them with water on the cards.

Contacted Corsair, no reply. The cards both seem to be working, but how can I test if their performance has been hit? I'm playing rift atm with crossfire enabled, on medium settings, not moving or doing anything particularly graphically intensive (staring at a flight of stairs ingame), and I'm getting 22fps. Friend of mine has a 5830 which gets 50fps on full settings so this seems very low to me!

Are there any programs I can use to test their performance?

If Corsair don't reply again I shall slap them in the mouth. With a fish.

lol

ive had it happen twice to 1 card. and it was some yello water all over it. just clean it and it will be fine. you will not got a performance drop from it.

it will either work or not work.

maybe tht game is not good for xfire.

update drivers update the game see what happens.

sli is crap for some games

Rift is the only game I have to try with :( 3DMarkVantage scores are perfectly normal, 18000 (I'm pretty sure that's normal?)

Just realised - I had to turn my oc on my i7 down, maybe that is what is holding me back:D

Damn. Would've liked the cards to be borked and to get a refund to buy something better with haha

check it with vantage and reference your score with a similiar system..... i would imagine corsair wouldnt use tap water with these coolers...it will be de-ionised liquid so in the event of whats happened to you they dont need to replace components.....

De-ionised water still conducts electricity. However it is unlikely to have caused damage to the cards with a low voltage short across the contacts in the slot or the chips on board.

I would be more concerned as where it is leaking from. Insist on an RMA.

it does but no were near as much(i think) i also ment to say non conductive aswell....if the h50 is leaking it needs to go now

My 5850 was running for a few hours with water leaking all over it.

Pretty much, the hose was loose on the cpu waterblock and eventually leaked all the water within 5 minutes all over the graphics card.

This happened overnight and the pc was still running in the morning.

After drying both the motherboard & graphics card with a hair drying for a few hours, I tested them. They are both working fine.

Unless you see any dark/burnt spots on your graphics cards, they should be fine. Test each individually to rule out any xfire issues.

Get your H50 replaced.
