I did a quick search and couldnt find anything in here so i thought i might aswell post!
Can only apple "approved"cards work in a G5 or can any PCIe card work?
Just wondering if i can buy a card for my PC and take it over to a G5 when i buy one next month, or if i would have to buy completely different card?
Just wanting a decent graphics card for the G5 for games under windows boot, obviously a pain in the ass if i have to buy something more expensive to its windows counterpart.

Intel G5 macs?

YOu mean the mac Pro?

No, you need mac BIOS on the card, you could buy a PC X1900XTX and flash it with the X1900 mac BIOS and overclock it again.

yeah the mac pro sorry didnt explain myself properly!

Also got the power pc G5's is it the same thing?

Is there a list of working cards anywhere or are there only a select few that will work? (ie cant get normal one to work, have to flash it like mac pro one)

Ummn IIRC same applies, just harder to achive because of no x86 compatility from boot.
