Hey,

Today just randomly my card seems to be artifacting and stretching images only in games.

My card is the 570 OCUK used to have but don't have anymore (not the pre-oc one).

I haven't overclocked it at all. I bought this graphics card with my system 30 Jul, 11 so i don't even know if its in warrenty anymore?.

Any idea what i should do?. Kind of lost atm.

My temps don't exceed 80c in games and usually sit between 60-76/78 ( only in newer games but i don't play them a lot, mostly LoL).

I'm thinking it may be the graphics card RAM thats causing it but i'm going to clean out my computer tomorrow of any dust to be sure.

really sucks this happens today, friday of all days :(

(here are 2 pictures to explain what i mean)

If it didn't used to and it does now, it looks like the memory is getting too hot. Give it a good dust down and see if that helps.

Yes i'll try that tomorrow. I'm going to go and buy some compressed air and take my pc outside and blow all the dust out. I just hope my comp doesn't mess up when i try to turn it back on. I've had a lot of back luck with components not working or breaking.

Just remember with canned air- don't shake the can. Use short bursts. When you lose pressure leave the can to warm up.

Shouldn't have any issues then.

yes i'm going to do it slowly and do short burst. im going to take the graphics card out the slot and blow air through it. would it damage it if i blow air through the air vents near the connectors if i do it in short bursts like you said and then blow more air through the fan area?.

Ok i bought some compressed air, took my pc downstairs and gave it a good clean with it. so far so good, i havent seen any artifacts yet but time will tell when i stress the card a bit more in other games but for now it seems to be working and my pc is overall a little cooler :).

Will update this thread again if anything else happens. Thanks for the help!.
