Hey!

I am looking to add a graphics card into my PC to help play Football Manager 2018 for the hubby, I was look at possibly a GeForce GT 1030 or GeForce GT 1050


My PC Spec is in my signature and I'm running a Antec VP-Series 550W PSU. I am only looking to spend about £200 max

Any thoughts guys?

For £200 look for a second hand GTX970.. They go for around £150 and still hold up well in the latest games
 
Football manager isn't demanding but at the same time, I wouldn't be looking at a 1030 to game on. A 1050 would do nicely and will be well under budget and the PSU will be fine :)
 
If Football Manager is all he really wants to play, a GT 1030 will be more than enough. The minimum spec for it includes decade-old mid-range cards.
 
I’d still get a second hand 970 myself. Or a 980 if you can find one in budget (got my second one for £200 but they’re probably more now).

A lot of power for the money.
 
Thanks guys, I'll certainly have a look for a 970 on ebay and see what the options are before pulling the trigger.

I think you may have been a member long enough to use the MM, if you can get up to 500 posts :p

It’s where I try to buy all stuff like that.

PS. You might want to obscure where you’re purchasing from, can’t remember if they’re considered a competitor.
