Hi lads, I'm goin to build first ever watercool desktop with 3x 980 or 3x Titan X. Actually i do not have much knowledge about watercoolin as from past many years i was into Alienware 18 series.
Well I got Corsair Air 540 case and H110i GT for CPU cooling. Now i'm lookin forward to 3x Titan X (depend on budget or get 3 x 980s). I'm goin to wait for XSPC Titan X water blocks. Now i'm not sure which Pump is better for 3 x graphics card? Do i really need pump with water flow/speed control? Best system fans controller? I'm goin to get two radiators 360 and 140 as that max i can throw in Air 540.

3 Titans require more radiator space than you can fit into 540.
The general rule about watercooling is a 240 rad per high end component.
So for 3 titans you will need 3 x 240 or 2 x 360 rads etc plus don't forget about the CPU, which is another 240/360.

I would strongly recommend. going for different case.
Corsair 900D
Lian Li larger cases
CaseLabs (I know, it's expensive but you will never have to worry about space for rads).

Oh, and you got it wrong ith 540.
You can get a 280 + 360 + 140 in there.

So, like I said, bigger case needed.
Unless you consider putting external rads like MORA or one of new EK PE rads, like this one:

As for pump, single D5 should deal with 3 cards, CPU and 3 rads - no problem there.
I had 3 x 360, 2 GPUs, CPU and my D5 was working fine on speed 3 with very nice temps.

Fans:
Akasa Apache PWM fans or
Noiseblocker NB-eLoop Fan B12-3 - 120mm (1900rpm) or

Fan controllers:
It's entirely up to you.
I prefer simplicity rather than touch screen and loads of buttons, so I had this one:
Lamptron FC6 5.25" Bay Fan Controller - Black

And if you never tried watercooling, make sure you know what to do.
Always read guides on forums and always read instructions on everything you connect.
And consider this: a lot of companies treat watercooling as voiding the warranty (except EVGA and maybe 2 more).

If you have such possibility, ask a pro or a friend who knows how to help you out.
And if you decide to do it yourself, prepare for days of hard work, because that's how long it's going to take you, if it is your first try :)

Oh, one thing about thermal paste for GPU blocks - use fat paste, like MX-4 or other.
Never use liquid metal. It doesn't work well with GPUs.
CPU is a different story, liquid metal works best there.

Anyway, I wish you good luck and have fun :)

for case your space is going to be a little on the constrained side but I've seen some beautiful 540 Wc builds you should be fine so a bigger case while desirable is not entirely needed.

pump a single D5 or DDC will deal with it all fine

Fan's I'm not too sure about as I've stuck with gentle typhoons, but highly recommend the Lamptron FC6 fan controller (linked above) it powers everything I have with ample room to spare (get some 3pin splitter cables £1.99 /each)

As above, read guides watch videos and really get yourself familiar with the principles of watercooling. Watch tips and tricks vids, and watch some vids of what can happen if you go wrong and what you can do to avoid it.

and just to reiterate Never use liquid metal. IC-diamond will do you fine

Thanks Bart for detailed reply & Murah, yeah it 540 case may be small for watercooling, but i really like it design. I think first i try to manage with it as i like it's design. Well i can manage to put in 360, 280 and 2 x 140 (one on top of PSU behind MB custom job). I think XSPC AX series thickness would be alright. Additionally it may be possible to throw in another slim 280 at bottom, too much speculation. Also im goin to use Corsair H110i GT for CPU.
Yeah i like simple controller too as it does job done. Actually i think ICD performs better isnt it.
I got £5000 for my build, i believe i can manage to get 3 x titan x, Asus X99 Deluxe or MSI gaming 9, Corsair 1200, 5930x, H110i GT, 32GB DDR4, 6TB HDD, Watercooling xx.

@murah, from past 2 days watchin videos all day long ;) Yeah fan controller is slightly complicated but anyway i can swap it later on, if not get on with.

I do like XSPC GPU waterblocks cosz of led lights, im not sure when they gona release it for Titan X. is EK blocks as better as XSPC?

*Edit*
Alright i can add one 88mm radiator top of PSU on Air 540. I think now enough coolin. I think i got answers for most of my questions. just confused about VGA blocks EK or XSPC(not released yet for Titan X).
