Hello,

As title I am having an issue where the computer starts fine, I get into windows fine and it can sometimes be instant or 5-10 minutes then I get either a pink or dark blue pixels screen nothing works, then the screen goes into saver as it says nothing is connected.

I have updated gfx card drivers to the latest and uninstalled then re installed. Still have the issue. The only thing so far that has stopped it is on the first start up I turn the power off at the plug first but come the next use same issue unless info the mini power reboot.

Specs:
GeForce GTX 280
nForce 780i SLI mo bo
Vista 64 bit
4GB Corsair RAM
Dual core processor at 3.16Ghz each
Corsair TX 650W power supply

Done a temp check and GFX card is around 75C when running a game so over heating I don't think is an issue. The monitor is also new.

New gfx card needed? I have had this kne around 3-4 years now I think and has been pushed and used but the fan isn't speeded up, I have no random pixels out when it works fine.

So yeah, any help or advice much appreciated. All parts I used to build of we're from OC.
