Graphics driver removal

Hi Guys

i have just built a new pc and currently have an amd R9 280x installed. However today i have just ordered a gtx1070.

Whats the best way of removing amd drivers and installing the nvidia 1070? Is it best to download amd's driver removal tool and then just whack in the 1070 and install nvidia drivers?

I have always been AMD in the past so never installed a different make/model.

get DDU; remove amd drivers; reboot and then install NVidia's if you're on win 7 or win 10.....doesn't matter much but does just help clean up the reg over a straight uninstall......but just uinstalling works also
