Graphics Flicker

Oi Oi people,

I have a friend who is wanting to play Harry potter and the chamber of secrets on his pc but the graphics keep flickering.
He's currently running a 3870x2 and has tried updating directx 9.
Anyone know how to get round this?

Sounds like a refresh rate issue, is there an option to turn v-sync on.

there doesn't appear to be in the game. Is it possible to do it on another way?

Make sure he has latest drivers.

Right ok tried both and still can't find the solution. Any other ideas?

Are you running vista? You could try compatability mode it's quite an old game harry potter and the chamber of secrets.
