My friends PC (nearly 6 years old) has a graphics glitch. On board graphics on an Asus P8Z68-V motherboard. The system runs Windows 10 fully up to date.
The glitch appears as a square not unlike a qcode about 50x50 pixels slightly NE of centre and moves about a small amount, sometimes it is thinner and appears west of centre. It is not the monitor.
Does this sound like the graphics chipset failing?
I would add that the CPU heat monitor often reports heat in excess of 80C and the graphics drivers will be as they were over 5 years ago unless Windows updates them.
