Hi folks i am running i7@4ghz, asus 5870 and 6gb ram. I just installed Crysis for the first time and noticed that during any of the movie footage there is a approx 1 inch thick distorted graphic line going through the screen, specially on the faster scenes, is this normal or? Im a total PC noob btw so.

I also did scan system from in game for optimal and it came back with everything on high only, should it with this system scan and put everything on very high? I did put everything on very high and noticed that there were some slower sections and very slight game freezing, is this normal for crysis or should this system run this with ease. This is with no mods just the original game.

Many Thanks for any input.

Have you attempted to patch the game up and are you using the latest drivers from the internet and not the CD. You probably have done these but just checking.

No i havent lol

I just recieved the PC from OC today and wanted to try crysis out right away.

Are you talking about game drivers or graphics, as i pressum OC have put the latest drivers on??

Cheers

Ok well its best practice on any PC to update the...

Game
Drivers (graphics and sound)

To the latest version

I imagine OCUK would have done the drivers but its best to check and make sure, more importantly in this case is the game, its a 2007 game running on newer hardware so update it via Crysis website, start the game and the version number is in the corner, then check the website for patches that are of a higher number, unless of course it has autoupdate in the menu somewhere, I dont remember
