Hi, Iam getting graphics glitches last few weeks when gaming on my gtx295 for a short time, gpu temps are fine and have had warnings in event viewer in win7 saying The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention, Video memory resources are over-utilized and there is thrashing happening as a result. Reducing number of running programs and open windows may help resolve this condition. could this be my card becoming faulty or possibly something else at fault?

I reinstalled windows and still getting same problem and have tried on another hard drive and same issue, its not corruption like i see others have had with a failing card , ie the colours are all wrong and jaggies ,but it will flash up the graphics that are being displayed quickly and go away then it might not happen again for a wee while longer , should i get it rma'd?

i set the fan speed manually at 90% when gaming and temps are mid 70's depending on ambient temps but no more than 82 on full load, idle fan speed is at 40% and temps are 56c

Hmm temps seem ok even though I would have thought the fan is turned up higher than it should need to be.

I would run something 'like' furmark, something that will tell you if it artifacting. Give it a bit of a work out. That should tell you if the card is struggling to run normally or not.

Edit : I'm not certain I have the right software so please check that name out first. :D
