Graphics Help

I'm totally rubbish with images and was hoping someone could help me out! I have this image:

which I basically need the background removing (just a transparent background / image made into PNG). If anyone can help me, or tell me how to do it (I have access to Paint.Net only) it would be much appreciated!

It's for an internal website... I'm a very bored developer so put random stuff in there. This will go nicely with MrT and the 'Simples' Merekat
