Graphics Issue

Hey Guys

Sapphire ATI 5870 1GB

just after some advice on an issue thats recently croped up when playing games ive already emailed sapphire regarding the issue but any additional advice on the nature of the problem would be great.

i am finding very intermittently while running in a 3d environment that little squares form on the display and interferes with the graphics entirely. This will happen on every Game although when running in just a 2D environment I do not experience this problem and when performing a simple restart the issue goes away but I can be playing games with no issues for several hours with no problems and this issue would crop up after a couple mins sometimes its very temperamental

The little square anomalies are consistently moving around the entire display

Also temperature is between 60-70 on load so i know it cant be a overheating issue

Wish i was able to try in a different system it would have been one of the first things to try, its just very odd how the problem suddenly appeared after having no issues previously.

I guess what I am trying to ascertain the likely hood of the issue being hardware related or not

I could start faffing about with installing different version drivers but i suppose it is the only next logical step..

I am currentley running 11.7 would anyone have any suggestions on what drivers to try ?

Cheers guys you pretty much confirmed what i thought already emailed sapphire im hoping their returns procedure isn't too much of a pain!

Graphics card has been RMAed by overclockers and i received a confirmation email from overclockers stating the card is being returned to the manufacturer for repair/replacement and can take aproximatly 28 days to process what is the likelyhood i will be waiting that long if not longer?

I know nothings guranteed i just dont want to be left in the lurch with waiting for a repaired/replaced product
