Hi there

I need these identifying:-
1. Samsung K4J52324QC-BC20 16 Mbit x 32 GDDR3 500 MHz FBGA 136 M54P

2. Samsung K4J55323QF-GC20 8 Mbit x 32 GDDR3 500 MHz uBGA 144 R420

The cards have 4 of those chips onboard. So can somebody tell me what the size of the onboard memory is please for:-
1. ?
2. ?

I think I know the answer but am just after confirmation please. :)

1. 16mbit x 32 x 4 /8 = 256mb
2. 8mbit x 32 x 4 / 8 = 128mb

Thanks m8!

1. = Asus PhysX Card
2. = BFG PhysX Card

So that confirms then the Asus cards OcUK has are 256MB ones, just needed this as they are labelled up as 128MB cards. Spoke to Asus and they confirm they are 256mb cards as they were forced to label them as 128MB and market them as 128MB due to BFG complaining to Ageia about Asus doing a 256MB version.

So anybody purchasing an Asus PhysX card from OcUK is getting a card equipped with 256MB of memory, however what other online stores have is unknown as we have specifically done a deal with Asus to make sure we got the 256MB cards. :)

To further back up this evidence here is a picture of the Asus card with its memory chips:-

Read about it here
As can be seen from the picture this confirms that the memory chips are 16MBIT which results in 256MB when you have 4 onboard

Here is a table of all Memory codes so you can easily identify memory chips and what they total:-
Memory chip identification table!

You can now rest assured that when buying an Asus PhysX card from OcUK your getting a 256MB version. :)
