Graphics on laptops

Gf wants to play sims 2 on a new laptop,
Not sure if she should be looking for one with a graphics card?
She also wants one from the high street for £500, so looking at
Dual-core Intel® Core™ i5-460M (2.53 GHz)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit
15.6" Widescreen
Memory: 4GB

any suggestions would be brill cheers

and a 5430 be better then?

It's got frame rates for Sims 3 there, could be of help. Try and get i5 if you can.

As for the spec you just listed, you can get a lot better for the money. That 5430 is terrible.

MSI have a couple of good ones around the £500 mark, CR620 and CX623 I think
For £500 its going to be hard to get one with a GPU and a good CPU, iirc HP had some ok ones, but they were having a sale so prices may be different now. Dell......might get lucky but i think they were all around 600+ after vat and delivery for one with a gpu.
