graphics power of what to get?

My Kids laptop is in the process of dying and I want to get them a new one.

I've got a budget of upto about £650 and want to get one that is at least as powerful as I the one they have

spec

512meg
15.4" screen
Intel 3.06 ghez processor
nvidia fx 5300 card.

The I ask about graphics power is the play games on it, we are talking Sims, pippa funnel horse games etc.

Any ideas?
