Graphics problem in game only, puzzling

I've got an issue while playing games that has only arose in past 3 days. Initially I thought it was the graphics card, so I swapped it for another one I had lying around - same model that I used to use in SLi but the issue still occurs.

This happens in all other games I've tried, it only happens in games. If I try and screenshot it using printscreen, it looks normal, so was only able to capture is using a camera. Since I don't think it's both the graphics cards, I'm guessing my motherboard has somehow got damaged.

Any ideas or input is welcome.

Im no expert on this at all, youd probably be better off looking in the graphics card forumn in all honesty.....

But the fact that it creates a perfect image when screenshotted tends to suggest that the computers producing the image fine, but that its some how getting corrupted/altered on the way to the screen.

Simplest thing to do would be to try out a new cable, possibly even a different screen if you can.

What made you think it may be the motherboard ?
