graphics problem

i have a yellow flag in my device manager on this above

im running vista 32 and a new 4870x2 i cant get the card installed with any dif drivers, formating etc
but ive always got a flag on my gcard and this hpyer transport error
anyone know a fix let me know thx

i have my latest bios drivers,
is there any other driver you are refering too?
and also i have it running on xp but it wont run on vista this card?

You need to install your Motherboard drivers.

Once in windows you still need to install motherboard drivers and various others depending on OS/Service pack, BIOS versions are completely different. It looks to me as if you're missing chipset drivers or alike.

Not sure why yours is saying AGP as it should say PCI-X

Don't think the X2 will work on there as its a VIA chipset by the looks of it.

yes the error i am getting is my gcard shows a vga display error in the taskbar when it loads up.
but yes my card is pci-
and really i had a 4870 single card running on vista it was fine
but on vista after removeing of drivers etc,
i just cant get the x2 ati card to install.
i have updated bios
removed all drivers with drivercleaner,.
and i still have this hyperlink error
i know its a vista sware issue but i just cant seem to find what i need to
get it running

It should work fine with Vista, if you are getting what you originally posted, its chipset/mb drivers (lack of). The pdf i linked contains info on how to install them and the link LoadsaMoney posted contains the actual drivers (although i dont understand why the amd guide states pci-x and you're saying AGP :s).

ok guys ive formated pc.
ive done updates,
i have latest bios version,
on my ASU P5W DH Delux
i still have a pci-pcie bridge error in my device manager,"yellow flag"
and still i have one on the display where it shows the 4870x2"
anyone know exactlly which bios version i should install or try?
or any other Ideas how to fix this PCI-PCIE bridge flag error in my device manager?
ive run out of ideas and its running perfect on my xp install.
just will not run on vista and i dont know how to fix it after format and all clean install of latest drivers?
