Graphics problem

Yes, this should be in the operating systems section. I put it here so it gets more views. Mods please don't move it.

I have a problem, recently I installed Worms armageddon off steam, and it asked me when I launched the game if I wanted to let it handle compatibility settings. I said yes.

Ever since shadows in games look screwy and banded, like they did in the DX9 days. Rise of the Tomb raider looks especially screwy.

I have tried turning off the compatibility assistant to no effect.

I don't want to have to reinstall windows to solve this. What can I do?

System in sig, latest drivers for everything, win 10 64 latest patch

Does the graphics issue affect applications or the desktop, or is it just games?

Maybe try looking at the options in your graphics driver control panel to see if anything is set wrong. Then maybe uninstalling and reinstall graphics drivers. Then maybe install a fresh directx?
