graphics score in vista wrong?

hi guys, iv just managed to get my new titan vulcan pc to work.
in vista when i see what score it gets everything is 5.9 except
graphics and gaming graphics which only scores 1 !!

what do i need to do to change this as it has a xfx ati radeon 4870 installed

sounds like your graphics drivers arent installed correctly! - go to ati's website and download the latest set.

when you say you've just managed to get it to work, did the pc come ready built/configured or have you changed/reinstalled something?

Install latest 9.2's from ATI's website though would appear to be the easy answer.
 
It's not anything to do with the graphics driver I reckon, everytime you install Vista from scratch, it installs a default VGA driver and thus when it does its initial benchmark, it sets it to 1.0.

Try re-running it.

^^this. Vista's benchmark is pointless anyway.

Saying that I'm just going to go and run it on my machine :D

Not neccesarily, this is only true of newer cards. My old desktop with a nVidia 6100GeFore Integrwated job is picked up during install with the correct driver installed and the 2.0 score is deserves :p
