Graphics upgrade advice

My ageing 9800 Pro has finally given up the ghost and as such I'll need to be getting a new graphics card. Currently, I have an AGP, socket 754 motherboard complete with an A64 3000. Given I have around £200 to play with, do I:

1) Spend the lot on an AGP card, such as a 7800 GS.

2) Spend £40 on a PCI-E 754 motherboard and the rest on a PCI-E card such as a 7600GT.

Whichever option you recommend, can you also recommend which would be the best card to go for within the budget?

Many thanks :)

Thanks for the comments guys, looks like I'll invest in a new mobo then and go PCI-E.

Think I might just go with the 7600GT though, as for 120 quid you can't go wrong. Plus, looking at benchmarks, it performs nearly as well as the 7800GT and I know that card is good enough for my needs as my mate has one.

Cheers all :)
