i'm currently using my 8800gtx but feel i need to splash the cash again

what can i get for £200

using a ds3r so crossfire is possibly an option

thanks

Yep from a review I have seen it shows Crossfire to be dreadful on P35 boards with no real gains being made by having two cards!

lol, i'd probably be better off getting a new sli mobo and getting another 8800gtx

maybe ...

Hi stinka, with the kind of budget that you have, there is either the ATI Radeon 4870 series for example this one here or the Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 Core 216 cards such as this one here. They are both fantastic cards and are very closely matched in performance so which ever one you choose, I'm sure you will be happy with it. :)

To help you choose though, have a look at the following articles which are both well worth reading:

Guru3D - Top 10 games Radeon 4870 1 GB & GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 test

Bit-Tech - Christmas 2008 Graphics Performance on Core i7

Now, with regards to crossfire. If this here (The link is now fixed) is the motherboard that you have then unfortunately you wouldn't be able to run dual graphics cards since it only has one pci-express slot. :)

See, I was gonna put up an informative post like that, but I graciously let Fire Wizard take the glory.
