Hey guys. Might have a chance to get another 5870 for £170.00. cant find any recent benchmarks for crossfire only old ones for when it came out. I presume its improved since then with driver updates. I was holding off to see what the new cards offer and decide then but its a decent offer. opinions please

I don't see the 5870 becoming obselete overnight.

check out xbitlabs.com they had some more recent crossfire tests.

You'll probably lose less compared to the depreciation of a new card and you'll likely gain more performance than a similar investment in newer tech.

You GFX budget seems to be £340 which would likely net you a 6970 which won't touch 5870 xfire
