I love graphics =P

Just started first year at college wanted to show you all this, as i've worked rather hard on it today, and also to see what you think.

I'm going to do a drinks label with it ( Griz energy, 100% natural! )

+ a nice sharpened and coloured ( slightly ) version.

Made with mouse + photoshop. No stock images.

Basically i had a bg sketch , which was very rough. And then drew a load of lines in directions relating to shape of his face.

Then i tried a few diff variations ( one with smudging as you see, but it looks more like a wookie! )

Then filled it in with the hairs, used dodge + burn to add highlights.

Added a new layer with more highlights ( brush tool this time ), sharpened it a fair amount, faded etc.

Original image was 3000x2000 ish. Used mostly an 8px brush, for each hair is hand drawn!

Aye the flip was because it's due in monday, and that literally halves the time!

And i'm going to try a few wee things to get rid of flatness.

Didn't want to use a reference for this one, just curious as to how it would turn out.

I had a crappy one before, and loved it.

Going to get one of the £60 wacom bamboo things soon =)

Fluctuates up to around 40 of them at points :eek:

Griz type = Pen tooled.

And the other 2 are repeated on front and back of image.

(although i know they don't really fit, i know!)

I was going for the mad look anyway. On the finished one 'tis all about being WILD.
